What Is Teach For China?

 

We keep talking about how the teachers running this project are fellows with Teach For China. So then, what on Earth is TFC?

 

Teach For China is a nonprofit organization working to end education inequality in China by sending highly motivated Chinese and American teachers out into some of the poorest parts of China. Fellows are sent out to small schools in Yunnan and Guangdong, where they work with their students, community, and local teachers to make a lasting impact on the educational outlook.

关于美丽中国

 

我们一直在强调这个项目的创办人是来自美丽中国的志愿者教师。那么，到底什么是美丽中国？

 

美丽中国是北京立德未来助学公益基金会下设的教育公益项目，致力于解决中国教育资源分布不均的问题。美丽中国成立六年来，每年都会招募优秀的中美青年对其进行培训，并把这些项目老师输送到中国的贫困地区进行为期两年的支教。2014-2016年的项目老师被派往云南和广东的学校，这些老师和他们的学生、当地老师以及当地社区一起努力，希望能够对中国的教育前景产生持续性的影响
